Thursday Night Football Raiders vs Chiefs: Live updates and Patriots rooting guide

The (2-4) Oakland Raiders are hosting the (5-1) Kansas City Chiefs for Thursday Night Football in what could have been a clash of two contenders- if only the Raiders held up their end of the bargain. Kick off is at 8:25 PM ET on CBS, NFL Network, and online streaming for those with Amazon Prime.

The Chiefs are 3-point road favorites, which seems surprisingly low with how these two teams have played in 2017. The Chiefs are considered the best team in the NFL while the Raiders have been a complete disappointment. Kansas City has also won five straight against the Raiders and seven of the past eight games.

The New England Patriots are obviously rooting for the Raiders to win with the hopes that the Patriots can match the Chiefs with 5-2 records after seven weeks and open the door for the Patriots to reclaim the top seed in the AFC.
