The New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons announced their inactive reports for Sunday Night Football in week 7. The Patriots are clearly at a disadvantage, missing two of their three top cornerbacks and one of their top three linebackers. The Falcons aren’t missing anyone of import.
The New England Patriots will be without LB Elandon Roberts, OL Cole Croston, LB Harvey Langi, DL Geneo Grissom, CB Stephon Gilmore, CB Eric Rowe, and OT Cameron Fleming.
At linebacker, the Patriots will again start Dont’a Hightower and Kyle Van Noy, but look for David Harris to possibly see more time than ever before this year. Marquis Flowers is another option for more time.
At cornerback, the Patriots will be without two of their top three cornerbacks, so Johnson Bademosi and Jonathan Jones will again step into the top lineup with Malcolm Butler.
Fleming’s inactivity at tackle shows how LaAdrian Waddle has taken over as the top swing tackle for the Patriots.
There are no surprises for the Falcons. None of these players are part of the starting line-up or depth rotation.
