Patriots LB Kyle Van Noy raises money to empower adopted youth and those in foster care

The Patriots linebacker is taking the lead off the field.

Ever since the New England Patriots acquired linebacker Kyle Van Noy in the middle of the 2016 season, Van Noy has been a leader both on and off the field. When he’s not busy exceeding expectations on the field, he’s leading the Van Noy Valor Foundation with the goal of empowering adopted, foster, and disadvantaged youth through mentorship programs and special events.

You can donate to Van Noy’s foundation here.

Van Noy was inspired to start his foundation in 2014 because he was adopted as a baby and wanted to give other kids in a similar situation the “resources and tools to grow.” The Van Noy Valor Foundation just held a Celebrity Server Night at Patriots Place with proceeds benefiting the foundation. Watch video from the event on Patriots.com here.

Plenty of Van Noy’s teammates were on hand, including running back James White and special teamer Matthew Slater. Team owner Robert Kraft made an appearance, too. Here are some images and videos from the event.

Great event last night at the Kyle Van Noy Foundation event.
