The New England Patriots are 3-2 and their defense took major strides to get back on track. Hopefully Rob Gronkowski will be healthy after a long week of recovery. The Patriots face their first divisional rival next week, but until then there are plenty of games to break down.
Here’s the Patriots rooting guide. Odds via OddsShark.com
1:00 PM ET
Bills at Bengals (-3): Go Bengals. Easy one.
Titans (-3) at Dolphins: Go Titans. Easy one.
Jets (-1) at Browns: Go Br...actually...Go Jets, right? Don’t we want the Jets to win to hurt their draft position? They’re not actually going to win in the playoffs and this game could decide which team has the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Go Jets!
Chargers at Giants (-3.5): One team will finally walk out with the win. Patriots want the Chargers to win for the sake of strength of schedule.
Jaguars at Steelers (-8): Can the Jaguars pull off the upset? That would be fun, especially at the expense of the Steelers. Go Jaguars.
49ers at Colts (-1.5): Go Jacoby Brissett. Go Colts.
Panthers at Lions (-3): Patriots want the Panthers to win for the sake of strength of schedule.
Cardinals at Eagles (-6.5): This game does not matter to the Patriots at all.
4:05 PM ET
Ravens at Raiders (-3): The Patriots want the Raiders to win for the sake of strength of schedule.
Seahawks at Rams (-1.5): Wheeew, all aboard the Rams hype train, I guess? This is destined to be another 6-3 slugfest, right? This game doesn’t matter for the Patriots.
4:25 PM ET
Packers at Cowboys (-2): This game doesn’t matter for the Patriots, but it should be a fun one.
8:30 PM ET
Chiefs (-1) at Texans: We’re all buying stock in Deshaun Watson now? Patriots want the Texans to win for the sake of strength of victory and to also bring the Chiefs back to the pack in the AFC.
