The (1-3) Chicago Bears are hosting the (2-2) Minnesota Vikings for Monday Night Football this week. Kick off is at 8:30 PM ET and the game will be televised on ESPN. The Vikings are 4-point favorites and the over/under is set at 40.5, implying a relatively low-scoring affair.
The Bears offense is averaging an ugly 15.3 points per game and allowing 26.0 points per game. That point differential of -10.7 per game is the second-worst in the NFL, ahead of only the Indianapolis Colts.
The Vikings have a solid defense and they should be getting starting QB Sam Bradford back after he missed three weeks with a knee injury. They have one of the most productive receiver duos in the league with Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, but they lost rookie RB Dalvin Cook to an ACL injury last week.
This game doesn’t affect the Patriots and it’s likely the Vikings will win this game. The Patriots should root for the Bears to lose so Chicago stays ahead of the other AFC East teams with regards to draft position.
