The New England Patriot are practicing in Colorado Springs at the Air Force Academy in preparation for another high altitude game in week 11 against the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City. We will have the injury report later today when available.

For now, there are multiple reports that DT Malcom Brown returned to the practice field after missing the past three weeks with an ankle injury he suffered in week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons. Brown is the Patriots top run defender so his presence will be a major bonus if he can play on Sunday.

The Patriots were without RT Marcus Cannon, WR Chris Hogan, and ST Matthew Slater.

Cannon hasn’t practiced since he suffered an ankle injury in week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers; Cannon had been battling his ankle injury since week 2. LaAdrian Waddle should start in Cannon’s place and he did an exceptional job in week 10 against Von Miller and the Denver Broncos. Waddle also started in week 3 when Cannon did not play.

Hogan is still dealing with a shoulder injury and is not expected to play. Perhaps he’ll return in week 12 against the Miami Dolphins, but the Patriots will err on the side of caution with their wide receiver. Phillip Dorsett saw a large uptick in snaps against the Broncos with Hogan sidelined, while Danny Amendola didn’t see a change in playing time at all.

Slater suffered a hamstring injury against the Broncos, which is concerning because he missed most of August and September with a hamstring tear. Don’t expect to see him this week.
