The New England Patriots published their Thursday injury report and there’s only one change from Wednesday and that is the absence of center David Andrews with an illness. The Oakland Raiders had two changes, including LT Donald Penn returning to practice after missing Wednesday with a non-injury related reason.
Here are the full reports.
Did Not Practice
Patriots: C David Andrews (illness), OT Marcus Cannon (ankle), WR Chris Hogan (shoulder), WR Matthew Slater (hamstring)
Raiders: CB David Amerson (foot), OT Marshall Newhouse (hip/quad)
Andrews is new to the list and I’d be curious to know if the illness was related to the altitude, which is very possible. I had it happen to me when I was in New Mexico and you’re out of commission for a day until your body adjusts. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious.
Amerson is the Raiders top cornerback and he is unlikely to play, while Newhouse was downgraded from limited. Newhouse is the Raiders’ starting right tackle.
Limited Practice
Patriots: WR Danny Amendola (knee), TE Martellus Bennett (shoulder/hamstring), DL Alan Branch (neck), DL Malcom Brown (ankle), DE Cassius Marsh (shoulder), CB Eric Rowe (groin)
Raiders: G Gabe Jackson (ankle), LB Corey James (knee), FB Jamize Olawale (hamstring)
Neither team has a change.
