The New England Patriots are dominating the Oakland Raiders so far in the two teams' week 11 matchup. After going up 7-0 early on, the Patriots have added to their lead thanks in big part to two big plays by two of the team's most important offensive players: Brandin Cooks and Danny Amendola.
After a Raiders punt, a 52-yard pass play from Tom Brady to Cooks moved the football quickly down the field:
The pass was New England's second-longest completion of the season and a display of what Cooks brings to the table: straight-line speed and an ability to challenge defenses deep. Following the big completion, it was Amendola's turn – the veteran caught a five-yard touchdown on third down:
The Patriots are up 14-0 in Mexico City.
