The New England Patriots entered the locker rooms at halftime with a 17-0 lead over the Oakland Raiders – and on their first possession of the second half that lead grew to 24-0 thanks to the team's longest pass play of the season, a 64-yarder from Tom Brady to Brandin Cooks:

Cooks, who caught a 99-yard touchdown versus the Raiders last season, was able to beat the defense deep for his second catch of more than 50 yards. The first-year Patriot already has 133 receiving yards to go along with his score. Stephen Gostkowski kicked the extra point and New England is up 24-0.
