The New England Patriots practiced in high altitude leading into this week’s game against the Oakland Raiders to be prepared for all the negatives the elevation offered, but the Patriots couldn’t avoid all the troubles.
Cornerback Stephon Gilmore and wide receiver Danny Amendola went to the locker room with dehydration and are questionable to return.

Altitude sickness is serious and Gilmore looked hunched over as he was walking off the field. Hopefully he’s okay and this shouldn’t be considered a knock on the cornerback, who has had far from a fantasy season in his first year with New England. Hopefully he can recover over the next week.
Johnson Bademosi stepped into the starting lineup with Gilmore sidelined.
Amendola is having a good game of his own and now the Patriots have just Brandin Cooks and Phillip Dorsett at the position with Chris Hogan and Matthew slater inactive. Look for the Patriots to play multiple tight end sets and to run the ball to drain the clock.
Update: Gilmore returned to the sideline.
