The New England Patriots were happy to defeat the Oakland Raiders 33-8 and they were in great spirits as they took to the podium.

The Patriots didn’t post McCourty’s interview on Periscope, but he was certainly in good spirits as New England limited the potent Raiders offense to a mere 8 points (scored in garbage time). He was happy to credit fellow defensive back Jonathan Jones as being a big part of all the Patriots’ forced turnovers and New England never let Oakland settle into a drive on offense.

“They did a great job to step in like that, and like David, obviously wish he could’ve played, but just couldn’t make it. LA’s done a great job, he was battling out there, going against some good players.”
Brady gave props to his offensive line for their performance on Sunday, which special credit to back-up center Ted Karras and back-up right tackle LaAdrian Waddle, who was dealing with some sort of injury he suffered on the opening drive.
Hopefully David Andrews and Marcus Cannon can return soon, but it’s clear that the Patriots have some of the best offensive line depth in the NFL.
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski

“Hola, me llamo Roberto! [...] It was just a fiesta all over the field.”
Rob “Yo Soy Fiesta” Gronkowski had a quiet game from a receiving standpoint, but he did a great job in the run game and opened up opportunities for his teammates all game.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick

“I’ll always be a Navy man, I’ll always be a Navy man.”
Belichick opened up his press conference with a joke about wearing an Air Force sweatshirt because he grew up in Annapolis as a fan of Navy, a rival of the Air Force, and then thanked the Air Force Academy for their hospitality last week.
When Belichick jokes at a press conference, you know that he’s thrilled with the outcome of the game.
