The Patriots have decided to part ways with DE Cassius Marsh, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

Marsh had been having an up-and-down season with the Patriots this year, and while he provided value on special teams, he has seen his on-field time as a defender drop significantly as of late. He only saw the field for two snaps in Sunday’s game against the Raiders, and both of those snaps were runs to his side.
The result? Gains of seven and 25 yards. Ouch.
It’s always tough when a trade doesn’t work out - the Patriots gave up a 5th and 7th rounder to get Marsh - but this team is no stranger to cutting ties with a player regardless of cost.
The Patriots have also brought in DE Eric Lee off of Buffalo’s practice squad.
In addition to releasing Marsh, the Patriots have signed DE Eric Lee off of the Bills practice squad. Pass rush depth. https://t.co/R0sMrI5dYm
