CB Ty Law was inducted to the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2014 and has his eyes set on the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was named of the 15 modern-era finalists in 2017 and has a good chance of making it this year. He played for the Patriots from 1995-2004 and continued playing until 2009 with the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, and Denver Broncos.
WR Randy Moss is a semifinalist in his first season of eligibility and he has an outstanding chance of making the Hall of Fame. He played for the Patriots from 2007-10 and also played for the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers.
DL Richard Seymour is also a semifinalist in his first season of eligibility and has an outside chance of making the Hall of Fame this year. He played for the Patriots from 2001-08 and for the Raiders from 2009-12. He was named to the 2000s All-Decade team.
SS John Lynch (2008) and WR Torry Holt (2010) only had a couple cups of coffee over the summer with the Patriots, but, dang it, I’m still going to count them as New England players.
DB Everson Walls is another player that should ring a bell because he’s Bill Belichick’s default defensive back to reference whenever he reflects upon his time with the New York Giants.
