The New England Patriots are done for the day, but there are still four more afternoon games before Sunday Night Football and they each have varying degrees of intriguing importance to the Patriots.

(6-3) Seattle Seahawks (-7) at (1-9) San Francisco 49ers: The Patriots want the 49ers to lose for the sake of the 2018 second round draft pick that New England receives as part of the Jimmy Garoppolo trade.

4:25 PM ET

(3-7) Denver Broncos at (4-6) Oakland Raiders (-5): The Patriots defeated both teams so they don’t really care which team wins. That said, the Raiders have a chance to take down the Kansas City Chiefs in the division and so the Patriots will root for Oakland.

(7-3) Jacksonville Jaguars (-4.5) at (4-6) Arizona Cardinals: New England wants the Cardinals to win because the Jaguars are breathing down their necks atop the AFC.

(8-2) New Orleans Saints at (7-3) Los Angeles Rams (-2.5): The Patriots are rooting for the Saints to win for the sake of strength of schedule and strength of victory.
