The New England Patriots had a bad start to their week 12 game against the Miami Dolphins. After losing the coin toss and receiving the opening kickoff, the offense quickly went three-and-out – or so it seemed. On 4th down, New England ran a fake punt by snapping the football to Nate Ebner:

New England ran the play inside its own 30-yard line but was confident Ebner, who got injured on the play and headed into the locker room, would convert. The special teams standout did just that and gave the Patriots offense new life. The unit took advantage and just four plays later found the endzone on a 2-yard scoring run by Rex Burkhead.
