The New England Patriots took care of business with a 35-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins, but it wasn’t pretty. As Alec describes it, the game was perfect because it was comfortable and yet head coach Bill Belichick will still have plenty of performances to criticize and improve upon.
There were clear improvements, too. The defense allowed just 10 points since 7 came on a botched snap by Ted Karras and the offense converted all five trips to the red zone into touchdowns. So an 18-point victory did have some positives, right?
Looking at the AFC, it would appear that the Kansas City Chiefs have collapsed, the Pittsburgh Steelers remain the only rival to the Patriots, and the only real race left is the one for the sixth seed. Of the viable teams, which one has the best chance to make the postseason?
