The New England Patriots will head into their week 13 game against the Buffalo Bills with a 9-2 record, tied for best in the AFC. The ninth of those wins came last week versus the visiting Miami Dolphins and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick recently joined color commentator and former quarterback Scott Zolak to break down some of the key plays of his team's 35-17 win:

The video starts with Belichick dissecting the first third down New England’s defense played. Miami tried opening up the running back in the flat with a pick route but, as the coach pointed out, both Malcolm Butler and Trevor Reilly reacted well to it and did not allow sufficient separation. Belichick also noted that Elandon Robert and Trey Flowers were able to pressure quarterback Matt Moore into an errant throw.
The focus then shifted to the offense. First, Belichick pointed out how a good decision by Dwayne Allen played a big part in a 22-yard Rex Burkhead run. Afterwards, the future Hall of Famer spoke about a touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski and how the offense ran a "scissors" concept to take advantage of Miami’s cover 4 defense.
Belichick went back to defense for the final play of the breakdown, a closer look at a Patrick Chung fumble recovery in thd third period. The key player on the turnover actually was Kyle Van Noy, however, who won his matchup at the line of scrimmage and was able to track down the running back to make the tackle and strip the football.
