According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Green Bay Packers have parted ways with Martellus Bennett:

Their reasoning, according to Yates, is failure to disclose a medical condition. What this condition is remains unclear, but regardless, his tenure in Green Bay is over.
The Patriots could really, really, REALLY use some help in the Red Zone, and with the injuries continuing to pile up, it would be nice to see the tight end back in New England. If the physical condition that saw him leave Green Bay isn’t too serious, the Patriots should definitely give Bennett a call. He would be able to step right into this offense and provide immediate help to a team that is struggling to score touchdowns. Bennett is subject to waivers, so it may be a moot point, but a New England reunion makes a lot of sense.
