Only two members of the New England Patriots were not present at Friday’s practice and they haven’t played since week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Wide receiver Chris Hogan (shoulder) and right tackle Marcus Cannon (ankle) were not present, opening the door for Phillip Dorsett and either LaAdrian Waddle or Cameron Fleming to play against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Waddle attended practice on Thursday and Friday, but did not have pads, signifying a limited participation and potential absence on Sunday, too. The Herald’s Jeff Howe reports, “it would be a surprise to the team if [Waddle] recovered quickly enough to play Sunday,” suggesting that Fleming could receive the start.
We will have the full practice report when available.
