The New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills issued their final injury reports ahead of Sunday’s game. Both teams are pretty banged up with injuries and their respective roster depths will be tested.
Bills RB LeSean McCoy did not practice on Friday with a knee injury, but was not included on the final report and should be expected to play. Patriots QB Tom Brady (Achilles) and WR Danny Amendola (knee) were removed the injury report for New England.
Here are the other listings.
OUT
Patriots: RT Marcus Cannon (ankle), WR Chris Hogan (shoulder)
Bills: WR Kelvin Benjamin (knee), LT Cordy Glenn (foot/ankle), RG John Miller (ankle), FB Mike Tolbert (hamstring)
There are no surprises for the Patriots.
Glenn and Miller are two starting offensive linemen and Tolbert is a big part of their backfield at fullback. Benjamin was supposed to help the passing attack, but he suffered an injury after just 45 snaps.
QUESTIONABLE
Patriots: LB Trevor Reilly (concussion), RT LaAdrian Waddle (ankle), C David Andrews (illness), LB Marquis Flowers (knee), DL Trey Flowers (rib), DB Eric Rowe (groin), WR Matthew Slater (hamstring), LB Kyle Van Noy (calf)
Bills: TE Charles Clay (knee), FB Patrick DiMarco (ankle), OT Seantrel Henderson (illness), WR Jordan Matthews (knee), OT Conor McDermott (chest), TE Nick O’Leary (back), DE Eddie Yarbrough (chest)
Reilly is not likely to play on Sunday due to his concussion. The fact that Waddle, Flowers, and Van Noy are questionable is a good sign since they had to leave last week’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Hopefully Andrews can return to the lineup, too.
Henderson and McDermott are new additions to the report as the depth behind right tackle Jordan Mills and projected starting left tackle Dion Dawkins. O’Leary returned to practice for the first time all week and both he and Clay could be limited on Sunday. DiMarco splits time with Tolbert in the backfield and Matthews is Buffalo’s top receiver.
The Bills are seriously hurt, almost exclusively on offense.
