New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick joined Scott Zolak to explain why this week’s Miami Dolphins team is so different from the Dolphins team of two weeks ago, and he did a pretty good job of making the case.
Belichick shows the great man-to-man coverage play by the Dolphins defense (of which the Patriots will certainly exploit) and how they combine a great pass rush with that man coverage to be great on third down. The head coach also highlights a new Dolphins defensive wrinkle they added last week, showing how it’s a new game with new looks that didn’t exist in week 12.
He then broke down the elusiveness and patience of running back Kenyan Drake, noting that “when he gets space, it’s all over.”
Belichick closes by looking at a Miami punt block, which is probably his favorite thing to evaluate.
