The New England Patriots started their highly anticipated game against the Pittsburgh Steelers by winning the coin toss and kicking away. The Patriots' defense forced a punt before the offense marched down the field to quickly give the team a 7-0 lead. The biggest play of the series belonged to quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Brandin Cooks:

After struggling to consistently connect last week against the Dolphins, Brady and Cooks showed great chemistry on New England's first possession of the game as the wideout was able to get behind Pittsburgh's zone defense.
Only two plays after the 43-yard pass, Rex Burkhead punched the football in for his eighth touchdown of the season:
