The New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers just concluded one of the craziest games in recent memory. Down eight points, the Patriots were able to score a field goal and a touchdown within three minutes to take a 27-24 lead with under a minute left to go. What happened then was pure insanity.
First, the Patriots defense allowed Pittsburgh to gain 69 yards on the first play form scrimmage:

After some disastrous tackling, the Steelers were set up at the Patriots 10-yard line. On the very next play, it appeared as if the home team had retaken the lead, but a pass from Ben Roethlisberger to tight end Jesse James was ruled incomplete after the review process. Following a short pass on which Darrius Heyward-Bey failed to get out of bounds, the Steelers were forced to make a quick decision.
It ended with Patriots safety Duron Harmon sealing the game for New England:

Following the fake spike, Roethlisberger threw into traffic and the football landed in the waiting arms of Harmon. A crazy ending to a crazy game.
