New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis is expected to exceed 1,000 yards from scrimmage today, but few yards have been more important than his fourth-and-1 conversion against the Buffalo Bills.
It turns out that Lewis was also missing a shoe during the play, as NFL Films’ captured in this week’s Turning Point.
Lewis is averaging 84 yards from scrimmage over the past ten games and 93 yards and a touchdown since the bye week. He’s been a huge part of the Patriots offensive success and he’s hitting his stride at the perfect time.
