In a little more than one hour, Super Bowl LI between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons will kick off. And as is NFL rule, 90 minutes prior to said kickoff, both teams have announced those players, who will not be part of the active 46-man game day roster.
The Patriots’, via the team’s Twitter account, are as follows:
QB Jacoby Brissett
CB Justin Coleman
WR Michael Floyd
RB D.J. Foster
CB Cyrus Jones
SS Jordan Richards
OT LaAdrian Waddle
There are no surprises on New England’s list of inactives as the team has chosen to deactivate the same seven players as in the AFC Championship Game. Consequently, this also means that all seven players listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report are ready to go. The Patriots thus enter the Super Bowl at full strength.
Judging by the Falcons’ inactives, they do too:
WR Nick Williams
RB Terron Ward
CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson
FS Dashon Goldson
LB Josh Keyes
OG Wes Schweitzer
TE D.J. Tialavea
Atlanta had three players limited on Friday but they are also healthy enough to play.
