According to Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network on Wednesday, all of the charges in the Darrelle Revis case have been dropped.

It has been a tumultuous offseason for the former Patriot defensive back, to say the least. Following a disappointing season, a February 12th late-night altercation in his home town of Pittsburgh lead to Revis being charged with four felonies, according to NESN. The impending media circus made the former star’s release an easy decision for the Jets’ front office.

His slate wiped clean, Revis is now free to sign with any team he chooses. As poor as his performance on the field was in 2016, Revis still graded as the Jets’ best cover corner according to PFF.

Also according to Kinkhabwala, the former All-Pro appears to be focused on earning another contract:

Given the recent uncertainty surrounding the Patriots’ secondary, could a reunion be possible?
