Patriots trade up with the Dallas Cowboys in the 2017 NFL Draft

The Patriots have moved up in the sixth round.

Recapping day three of the 2017 NFL Draft

What do you think about the Patriots final two draft picks?

Posted by Pats Pulpit: For New England Patriots News on Saturday, April 29, 2017

The New England Patriots have traded up from 216th and 239th overall picks with the Dallas Cowboys to acquire the 211th overall pick and UCLA OT Conor McDermott. The Patriots entered the final day of the NFL Draft with just three draft picks and head coach Bill Belichick always enjoys adding extra selections in the final rounds to use as lottery tickets, so giving up a pick comes as a surprise.

Per the trade value chart, the Patriots gave up the equivalent value of the 255th overall pick, so this was essentially an even trade. The Patriots have no more draft picks in the 2017 NFL Draft.
