Patriots QB Tom Brady once again leads the NFL in merchandise sales

Two other Patriots are also on the list that includes all sales of the last three months.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is not only the most successful player in NFL history and the greatest quarterback to ever set foot on the gridiron, he also is a cultural icon in the north east. It is therefore no surprise that products that carry either Brady's name or number are best-sellers – not only across the New England area but across the nation.

The NFLPA’s latest release of overall player sales, which covers the time-span from March 1 to May 31, once again shows just how popular of a player Brady is. Despite entering his 18th season in the league, the soon-to-be 40-year old leads the league in combined merchandise items sold over the above mentioned time frame.

Brady is not the only member of the defending world champions to be found on the top-50 list. Tight end Rob Gronkowski is ranked at 16, while wide receiver Julian Edelman finds himself at the 18th spot. Only the Dallas Cowboys, led by rookie sensations Ezekiel Elliot and Dak Prescott, have more players listed than New England's three.
