The New England Patriots might have lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the opening week of the preseason, but there was still a lot to like- and most of it on the offensive side of the ball.

QB Jimmy Garoppolo looked outstanding, while RB Dion Lewis played with the third and fourth string offense. TE Jacob Hollister was fantastic in his debut and fellow rookie WR Austin Carr caught the attention of one of the hosts.

Defense was another story. There are definite questions on the defensive line while two defensive backs made a strong case to not make the opening roster. Does this open the door for any undrafted rookie? Or could the Patriots strike a trade?
