I don’t know if this is real or not, or if the New England Patriots are just pulling our leg, but I’m going to trust them on this one. The Patriots won Super Bowl LI down in Houston in February and there was a lot of confetti. It’s apparently still there.

There was a lot of confetti everywhere and I’m sure it’s hard to clean out every nook and cranny. It’s like when you track sand in your car after a trip to the beach; the car now belongs to the sand. You can’t do anything about it.
Apparently the Patriots found some of that confetti seven months later by the sidelines.
Back at the scene of the celebration and...there's still confetti in the phone bank. pic.twitter.com/wclp6MRmJC

Is this real? Maybe. I have a hard time believing that the Texans just left it there. Maybe the cleaning crew just thought it was Texans colors and...didn’t clean it up? Did no one wipe down these phones after the Super Bowl? That’s kind of gross, right? Sideline phones should be wiped down after every game, in my opinion.
If it’s true, then that’s awesome. I think the Patriots should leave Super Bowl confetti in every opposing locker room as a form of conquest.
