New England Patriots RB Rex Burkhead scored a touchdown on a nifty catch-and-run on an angle route out of the backfield:
Later in the game, fellow Patriots RB D.J. Foster ran the exact same route and scored his own long distance touchdown to take the lead against the Houston Texans.
Foster has an uphill battle to make the roster behind Mike Gillislee, Rex Burkhead, James White, and Dion Lewis, and it’d be a surprise to see the team keep five backs on the roster again. But he’s doing everything that he can to make the team and- at the very least- to make the roster of another team in 2017.
The Patriots lead the Texans 23-20.
