After New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman left the game with a knee injury, WR Chris Hogan stepped up in a larger role.
Hogan collected a simple touchdown on the Patriots opening drive with a nice route where he sat down in the flat before turning upfield for the score with 11:51 left on the clock.
Cornerback Malcolm Butler wanted to rebound from his ugly performance against the Houston Texans and forced a fumble on the very first play of the Lions drive, which was recovered by Jordan Richards.
And on the very next play, Tom Brady found Chris Hogan for a gorgeous 32-yard rainbow. Brady has been a machine, going 5/5 for 91 yards and two touchdowns.
The officials also threw a flag, but the Patriots declined. There was 11:30 left on the clock. That means just 21 seconds between touchdowns for Hogan.
The Patriots lead 13-0 (Stephen Gostkowski missed the extra point) and Chris Hogan is a beast.
