2017 NFL Hall of Fame Game Dallas Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals: Game details, broadcast schedule and open thread

Football is back. Sort of.

In February, the world saw two NFL teams play a competitive game of football for the last time in half a year: In Super Bowl LI, the New England Patriots were able to secure their fifth world championship thanks to a comeback win for the ages. Now, six months later, football is finally back – at least sort of.

Tonight, the 2017 NFL Hall of Fame Game will take place in Canton, Ohio and see two NFC teams go at each other: The Dallas Cowboys and the Arizona Cardinals. Here are the details in case you feel like watching “football light“ today.

Preseason week 1: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys

Date and time: August 3rd, 2017, 8:00 p.m. ET

Location: Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, Canton OH

Television: NBC

Online streaming: NFL Game Pass

The game does not project to be a thrilling affair as the most important aspect for both teams is staying as healthy as possible. Still, that does not mean that it will be a dull evening – after all, you never know what happens at the Hall of Fame Game. Last year, for instance, the event was cancelled due to turf-related issues.
