EDIT 2: According to the Boston Herald's Jeff Howe, Jones “likely” suffered a torn ACL – an injury that would end his season:

The Patriots lost 40-38, but that was a surprisingly fun game. What'd you think?

New England Patriots CB Cyrus Jones needed a big game in fourth week of the preseason. He was sixth on the Patriots cornerback depth chart and needed to prove his upside.
Unfortunately, the Patriots 2016 second round pick suffered an injury to his right knee while in coverage.
We’ve seen this injury before- just look at the injury to Julian Edelman- and it doesn’t look good. While we’ll wait for the tests to confirm the injury, signs point to an ACL injury for Jones. Hopefully he is okay.
Jones was the team’s top returnman, but the Patriots will need someone else to step up in the meantime. The loss of Edelman also hurts the Patriots special teams unit. A player like Danny Amendola, Dion Lewis, or D.J. Foster could see more time as a result.
