Despite all of the injuries on offense, the New England Patriots appear to be adding another defensive player to the practice squad. The Patriots had an opening after the Arizona Cardinals signed RB D.J. Foster. According to NESN’s Doug Kyed, the Patriots have signed Pittsburgh CB Ryan Lewis.
Looks like the Patriots signed CB Ryan Lewis, a Pitt product. UDFA rookie.

The 5’11, 192 pound Lewis went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, but ran an impressive 4.37s 40 yard dash and 6.87s three cone, and boasts an impressive 10’8 broad jump. Lewis was just a one-year starter at Pittsburgh, spending the majority of his time on special teams, and signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent. Lewis had a standout game against the Denver Broncos in the preseason, but was unable to make the final roster.
