The New England Patriots are in the middle of cutting down their roster. Simultaneously, however, the defending world champions are also in the middle of adding talent to the team. First, the Patriots traded for Detroit Lions cornerback Johnson Bademosi, then the team acquired Phillip Dorsett via trade.
Now, New England has made its third trade of the day, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter:

Marsh originally joined the NFL as a fourth round draft pick by the Seattle Seahawks in 2014. Playing on both defense and special teams, the 6'4, 245 lbs UCLA product appeared in 41 games for the Seahawks over the course of his career and registered a combined 42 tackles as well as 3.0 sacks – all of the latter coming during the 2016 season.
In New England, the 25-year old will now join a defensive edge depth chart consisting of Trey Flowers, Deatrich Wise Jr. and undrafted rookie Adam Butler.
UPDATE [5:09 p.m. ET]: The Patriots are also sending a second draft pick to Seattle:
One more trade update: In return for DE Cassius Marsh, Seahawks are receiving 5th- and 7th-round picks from New England, per source.
