The New England Patriots recorded their first win of the year against the New Orleans Saints and, as is tradition, the team announced their practice players of the week. There are just three players named to start the season and they are usually asked to practice like a key member of the opposing team.

TE Jacob Hollister actually played a little bit against the Saints and saw an expanded role after Rob Gronkowski left with an injury. Hollister likely served as Saints TE Coby Fleener in practice.
EDGE Geneo Grissom is one of the more decorated practice squad players, having won multiple practice player awards over the years. He could have played as Saints DL Cameron Jordan in practice.
S Nate Ebner didn’t play due to injury, but he’s close to a return. Perhaps he was rewarded for his return to the field, but it’s possible he practiced as Saints S Kenny Vaccaro, who was benched after Gronkowski made numerous catches during the game.
