The New England Patriots celebrated their 36-33 victory over the Houston Texans with a sense of relief and exhilaration. The players were all smiles after the game, with hugs all around for every teammate. Watch the video here.
“A lot of good situational football there,” head coach Bill Belichick said in his postgame speech. “All the things we talk about at the end of games, one or two plays, one or two seconds.”
The Patriots mounted a fantastic drive to end the game and to come back from a 33-28 deficit. Tom Brady found Brandin Cooks in the end zone for the score and subsequent two-point conversion, but that wasn’t enough to impress Belichick.
“Wasn’t our best,” Belichick added. “We got a lot of work to do, that’s obvious.”
