The New England Patriots posted their first injury report of the week for their upcoming game against the Carolina Panthers. The Patriots are currently the much healthier team as a handful of Panthers were sidelined from practice.

Did Not Practice

Patriots: RB Rex Burkhead (ribs)

Panthers: WR Kelvin Benjamin (knee), LB Jeremy Cash (calf), LB Thomas Davis (rib), C Ryan Kalil (neck), DT Star Lotulelei (shoulder), EDGE Julius Peppers (rest), CB Daryl Worley (shoulder)

Benjamin is the Panthers top receiver and Davis is one of their starting linebackers. These are two very notable injuries worth monitoring this week.

Patriots: WR Danny Amendola (knee), OT Marcus Cannon (ankle, concussion), WR Phillip Dorsett (knee), DB Nate Ebner (shoulder), CB Stephon Gilmore (groin), LB Dont’a Hightower (knee), CB Eric Rowe (groin), WR Matthew Slater (hamstring)

Panthers: QB Cam Newton (right shoulder), WR Curtis Samuel (back)

The Panthers quarterback is limited and has been battling injuries for the past year. He’s still working his way back to form.

The Patriots are slowly inching their way back to health. TE Rob Gronkowski is no longer listed, nor is WR Chris Hogan or LB Elandon Roberts.
