The New England Patriots had few surprises during their roster cuts- Alec and Rich come up with only two that were mildly interesting- but it was the team’s trade activity that caught attention.
The team sent a 2018 seventh rounder to the Cincinnati Bengals for LB Marquis Flowers. They sent a 2019 sixth rounder to the Detroit Lions for CB Johnson Bademosi. They effectively sent CB Justin Coleman and a 2018 fifth rounder to the Seattle Seahawks for EDGE Cassius Marsh. All three new players are expected to contribute on special teams.
The crown jewel trade was sending QB Jacoby Brissett to the Indianapolis Colts for WR Phillip Dorsett. Alec and Rich break down all the different angles of what this means for the team.
Alec and Rich also make predictions about the 2017 season.
