The New England Patriots returned to practice today in preparation for their upcoming AFC title game tilt versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. New England had perfect attendance, at least from the players on the 53-man roster, as a look at the latest injury report shows:
Did not participate
Jaguars: FS Tashaun Gipson (foot), OL Patrick Omameh (illness)
The Jaguars missed two players today: Gipson is a starter in the team's secondary, while Omameh is the team's starter at left tackle.
Limited
Patriots: QB Tom Brady (right hand), RB Rex Burkhead (knee), DT Alan Branch (knee), RB Mike Gillislee (knee), OT LaAdrian Waddle (knee)
Jaguars: SS Barry Church (shoulder), RB Leonard Fournette (ankle), DT Malik Jackson (ankle)
Brady’s injury is certainly something to monitor, especially because it is his throwing hand. Burkhead, Branch, and Gillislee are all inching towards a return after not playing last week against the Tennessee Titans.
Brady apparently jammed his throwing hand after a player ran into it.
Tom Brady jammed his throwing hand at practice after accidentally being run into, according to a source. X-rays showed no structural damage.

Full participant
Jaguars: QB Blake Bortles (right wrist), LB Paul Posluszny (abdomen)
Bortles is obviously the starting quarterback for the Jaguars, while Posluszny is the third linebacker in their rotation, behind Telvin Smith and Myles Jack. Posluszny comes off the field on passing downs in favor of pass rusher Dante Fowler.
Two players the Patriots have not listed on their practice report are offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle and cornerback Jonathan Jones, both of whom suffered injuries on Saturday versus the Titans. While Waddle was spotted at today's practice, Jones was not. The belief is that he will be placed on injured reserve.
EDIT: The team issued a correction and put Waddle on the report with a knee injury.
