Patriots announce 6 practice players of the week from their victory over the Jaguars

The New England Patriots announced six practice players of the week from their victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship Game. They are RB Mike Gillislee, CB Ryan Lewis, ST Brandon King, WR Riley McCarron, DL Geneo Grissom, and DL Adam Butler.

Gillislee practiced as Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette. This is his third practice player of the week award for the 2017 season.

Lewis was likely A.J. Bouye or Jalen Ramsey in practice. This is his fourth practice player award.

King was probably a mix of Telvin Smith and Myles Jack in practice, as well as the Jaguars top special teams players. This is King’s first practice player of the week award for the 2017 season.

McCarron could have been Jaguars running back Corey Grant in the return game, or any of the Jaguars speedy receivers like Keelan Cole or Dede Westbrook. This is his fourth practice player award.

Grissom and Butler were all of the Jaguars elite defensive linemen in practice and New England had a lot of success during the game. This is their sixth and third practice award, respectively.
