The New England Patriots held practice for the first time ahead of Super Bowl LII against the Philadelphia Eagles, so this report holds more weight than yesterday’s projection report. Here’s what we know.

Did not participate

Patriots: TE Rob Gronkowski (concussion), DE Deatrich Wise Jr. (concussion), DL Malcom Brown (foot)

Eagles: RB Kenjon Barner (illness)

Brown was projected to be a limited participant on Wednesday, but was downgraded to “did not participate” for Thursday. He’s been dealing with an ankle injury for the final quarter of the season and will likely get as much rest as needed.

Gronkowski and Wise remain out with their concussions. Both were injured in the final few minutes of the first half, with Gronkowski suffered a head injury from Jaguars safety Barry Church and Wise likely suffering one from Jaguars left tackle Cam Robinson, who landed on top of Wise right before the two-minute warning while Adam Butler was sacking Blake Bortles (Wise stayed in the game).

Barner was a new addition for the Eagles.

Limited participation

Patriots: RB Mike Gillislee (knee), OT LaAdrian Waddle (knee), QB Tom Brady (right hand), DB Devin McCourty (shoulder)

Eagles: RB Jay Ajayi (ankle)

Gillislee and Waddle remained “limited”, while Brady and McCourty feature on the report after not being listed on Wednesday. Hopefully both will be fully healthy for the Super Bowl.

Ajayi was downgraded from “full participant” to “limited” since yesterday.

Full participation

Eagles: LB Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring)

Ellerbe was promoted to full participant after projecting to be “limited” on Wednesday.
