The New England Patriots were back on the practice fields today for their second session of the week. The team, preparing for its Super Bowl LII meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles, held a walkthrough today inside the Empower Field House – and as has been the case during yesterday's session, the team did not have perfect attendance according to reports by those present.

Like yesterday, tight end Rob Gronkowski and defensive edge Deatrich Wise Jr. were not spotted. Each of the two players is dealing with a concussion and has been missing from the practice fields since then. Of course, with the Super Bowl taking place in only nine days, there is still plenty of time for Gronkowski and Wise Jr. to get cleared from the concussion protocol and return.

A third player was also not seen today: As has been the case yesterday, starting defensive tackle Malcom Brown was a no-show due to an ankle injury. The 23-year old played 58 of 74 snaps last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars and was on the field for the game's final defensive series. The team appears to likely just play it safe with Brown to give him enough rest heading into Super Bowl week.
