Alec and Rich took the bye week off, but they’re back in the swing of things to break down the NFL playoffs and the New England Patriots upcoming game against the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans pulled off a surprise upset against the Kansas City Chiefs and it’s fair to ask if Andy Reid has basically been Marvin Lewis since Donovan McNabb’s last season with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009. Reid is 86-58 (.597) in the regular season with three division titles and has been 1-6 in the playoffs; Lewis is 79-65 (.549) in the regular season with three division titles and has been 0-6 in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Jaguars won an ugly game against the Buffalo Bills for the right to try and embarrass the Steelers in front of their home crowd for the second time this year.

Also, which team in the NFC will make it to the Super Bowl? The Philadelphia Eagles are the #1 seed, but they’re arguably the weakest of the four remaining teams despite having the best defense. The Minnesota Vikings have an elite defense, too, and a competent offense; the New Orleans Saints have an elite offense and a competent defense; and the Atlanta Falcons have both a pretty good offense and pretty good defense. Alec and Rich debate which team will represent the other conference.
