The New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans release their first injury report on Tuesday, which is a day earlier than usual, because they play on Saturday. WR Malcolm Mitchell was not at practice, but will not show up on the injury report because he’s not on the active roster.
The Patriots removed QB Tom Brady (Achilles/left shoulder), TE Rob Gronkowski (illness), DB Devin McCourty (shoulder), WR Matthew Slater (hamstring), and OL LaAdrian Waddle (ankle), all of whom showed up on the Patriots week 17 injury report.
Here are the names listed.
Did Not Practice
Patriots: RB Mike Gillislee (knee)
Titans: RB DeMarco Murray (knee), LG Quinton Spain (back), CB Logan Ryan (ankle/precautionary)
Gillislee is looking like a long shot to play the rest of the year unless another running back suffers an injury, meanwhile the Titans are down their starting running back, starting left guard, and starting cornerback.
Limited Practice
Patriots: DT Alan Branch (knee), RB Rex Burkhead (knee), WR Chris Hogan (shoulder), EDGE Eric Lee (ankle/finger), LB Kyle Van Noy (calf), RB James White (ankle)
Titans: N/A
Hopefully all of these players are able to play on Saturday. The Patriots need them.
