The New England Patriots play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, but there’s plenty of football before the big game. Here’s the Patriots rooting guide for the early and afternoon games.

1:00 PM ET

Bills @ Texans: Patriots are rooting for the Texans.

Colts @ Jets: Patriots are rooting for the Colts.

Bears @ Dolphins: Patriots are rooting for the Bears. These three games are pretty simple because the Patriots want to stay atop the AFC East.

Steelers @ Bengals: Which team are you more afraid of in the long run? For me, it’s the Steelers, so I’m rooting for the Bengals to keep their lead in the division.

Chargers @ Browns: I’m rooting for the Browns because I think the Chargers are ultimately more dangerous.

Seahawks @ Raiders: The Patriots should root for the Seahawks, but this game has very limited value.

Cardinals @ Vikings: The Patriots want the Vikings to win for strength of schedule purposes.

Buccaneers @ Falcons: This game doesn’t matter to the Patriots.

Panthers @ Washington: This game also doesn’t matter to the Patriots.

4:05 PM ET

Rams @ Broncos: The Patriots are rooting for the Rams to go to 6-0 and sink the Broncos further down in the AFC.

4:25 PM ET

Ravens @ Titans: The Patriots want the Titans to win for strength of schedule purposes and because I don’t want Baltimore anywhere near the postseason.

Jaguars @ Cowboys: The Patriots want the Jaguars to lose because they want to finish the day with a better record than Jacksonville.
