The New England Patriots are playing a solid game so far against one of the NFL’s most talented teams. The defense has held the Kansas City Chiefs’ high-flying offense to six points on two field goals, while the offense is moving the football very well. The unit’s latest series ended with the team’s third score of the night:

With Sony Michel continuing to run the football well, the Patriots quickly moved the football into the Chiefs’ half of the field. A Tom Brady fumble recovered by David Andrews created a 2nd and 16 situation but the team was still able to turn the series into a touchdown. After Josh Gordon gained six yards on second down, Brady connected with Julian Edelman for a score on 3rd and 10.
The reception is Edelman’s first touchdown since the 2016 AFC Championship Game – and one that gave his team a 17-6 lead.
