The New England Patriots are playing arguably their best game of the season tonight considering the quality and record of their opponent. The 5-0 Kansas City Chiefs have been outplayed on offense and defense so far: the Patriots are holding their high-powered offense to field goals instead of touchdowns, while the team’s very own offense has been efficient.
The latest example of this is the team’s third touchdown of the night:

The one-yard touchdown run by first-round rookie Sony Michel capped a seven-play, 75-yard drive that saw a pass interference penalty against Kansas City set up New England at the 1-yard line. The penalty was drawn by Josh Gordon, who got behind the defense and had to be stopped via tackle before hauling in a potential touchdown.
New England took advantage of the prime field position with Michel scoring his second touchdown of the night – and fourth overall of his pro career.
