For the first time all season, the Kansas City Chiefs’ electric offense has been held to under 10 points at the half. A big reason for that is the New England Patriots’ opportunistic play on defense, with the unit registering two takeaways through the first two quarters of play. After a Dont’a Hightower interception set up a touchdown, a pick by Duron Harmon closed out the half:
Tipped.

Duron Harmon again finds himself in the right spot at the right time, capitalizing on a tipped pass to come away with the pick. The interception is the The Closer’s first of the season and preserves New England’s 24-9 lead.
While the Chiefs have been able to move the football well, the team has failed to convert its possessions into touchdowns. Overall, the Chiefs had to settle for three field goals in the first half and turned the football over twice with Harmon’s pick the second giveaway for Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes – a player who had zero picks through his team’s first four games of the year.
